Hi, I’m Ben—a designer with over 25 years of experience and the founder of Active Reason Design. Since launching the studio in 2010, I’ve worked with 50+ clients around the world to bring their brands to life through smart, intentional design.

Before starting my own business, I spent several years in the pharmaceutical industry designing marketing materials and packaging. That experience helped me build a strong foundation in visual communication, which now fuels everything I do—from branding and print design to packaging, digital design, and video editing.

I’m a total colour and font nerd (guilty!) and a design ninja when it comes to solving creative challenges with clarity and style. Whether you’re a small business just starting out or an established brand looking for a fresh perspective, I bring a friendly, collaborative approach to every project.

I especially enjoy helping small businesses build bold, authentic brands that reflect who they are. No matter the size or scope, I’m here to help you stand out with design that not only looks good but works hard.

When I’m not designing, I’m probably making music or experimenting with sound and visuals. Creativity is at the heart of everything I do—on and off the screen.
